Kaduna Refinery Production Capacity Increases To 60%


The creation limit of the Kaduna Refinery has been expanded to 60 for each penny after late repairs, a top administration authority of the refinery has said. The Managing Director of the Kaduna Refinery and Petro-Chemical Company, Saidu Mohammed, said that there were endeavors to push creation ability to between 80 to 90 for every penny before the second quarter of 2016.

As per him, a second period of the recovery exercise, which is progressing in the plant, has been finished.

"We have completed upgrade of every single significant compressor in the plant. Others are anticipating the entry of some extra parts, yet they are all with a specific end goal to expand the limit.

"Today, we can certainly run 60 for each penny. However, we need to enhance the unwavering quality of the plant.

"We will above all else solidify on what we have done," he said on Sunday.

Mr Mohammed said that the organization had assembled an arrangement for a four-stage restoration of the plant which had begun.

He said: "So far we have closed the initial two Phases and we speak the truth to set out on the third one.

"Soon, once we close down once more, we will utilize that window to complete stage three of the restoration.
