Buhari Meets With Service Chiefs, Gets Assurance Of Peace In North-east

President Muhammadu Buhari has gotten an affirmation from Service Chiefs that the December due date to end the exercises of the Boko Haram in the north-east Nigeria would be met. The confirmation came at a meeting with the Service Chiefs held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.

At the meeting, which was held away from plain view, the President and the Service Chiefs evaluated the war against fear, the achievement and the difficulties confronting the military.

While instructions journalists after the meeting, the Chief of Defense Staff, Major General Abayomi Olonisakin, said the meeting had gotten to be important to audit the military's operations following 60 days into the new request.
