Fake bomb strengths Air France flight to make Kenya crisis landing

An Air France traveler plane was compelled to make a crisis arrival in Kenya after a fake bomb was found in a can, the carrier says.

The Boeing 777, on its way from Mauritius to Paris, was cleared at Mombasa air terminal and the suspicious gadget taken away for examination.

Air France boss Frederic Gagey later said it was made of a cardboard box, paper and a clock.

He portrayed it as a "to a great degree forceful act".

The plane, conveying 459 travelers and 14 team, had left Mauritius at 01:00 GMT and had been because of fly straightforwardly to Charles de Gaulle air terminal in Paris.

A few travelers from the flight have been addressed by Kenyan police.

Mr Gagey told a news meeting that the aircraft would squeeze charges against those dependable and a request would be held.

Yet, he denied there had been any issue with security checks in Mauritius, saying the gadget contained no explosives, so would not have been distinguished.
