Mike Hesson: New Zealand coach signs contract extension
New Zealand coach Mike Hesson has agreed a two-year contract extension and will be in charge until April 2017.
The 39-year-old former Kenya coach took over in July 2012 and was originally contracted until next year's World Cup.
Hesson's New Zealand have won two Test series against West Indies and beaten India in both Test and one-day series.
"It's a really exciting time with the World Cup at home, our senior players performing well and a promising group of youngsters," he said.
