Rita seriously overestimated her fan persuasion abilities

But, as Rita Ora has learned the hard way, it can also make you look a bit of a fool.
The popstar decided that she would drum up some attention for her new single by tweeting: "Dropping my new song Monday if this gets 100,000 retweets."
Now, 100,000 retweets is a lot to ask, but it wouldn't be too difficult considering Rita has 3.9 million followers on Twitter, right?

The RIP singer's tweet only managed to get 1,850 retweets and 626 favourites – meaning Rita was 98,150 retweets short of her target.
Mortified, Miss Ora deleted the tweet – but not before fans screen-shotted the embarrassing fail.
