In a Hollywood twist, the police department told media the theft is connected to the rapper's ongoing DIY Network TV show, The Vanilla Ice Project, in which he and a crew renovate and flip homes.
According to Variety, the theft happened sometime within the last month at an abandoned home adjacent to a property Ice is renovating.
After the owners alerted authorities, police obtained a search warrant and, according to a Lantana police press release, recovered some of the items at Ice's home in Palm Beach County.
The items have been returned to their rightful owner. USA TODAY has reached out to DIY Network for comment.
