16 Boko Haram Suspects, Stimulant Suppliers Arrested In Yobe


No less than 16 Boko Haram suspects, their partners and stimulant suppliers have been captured by the 27th Military Task Force Brigade in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe state in north-east Nigeria. Parading the suspects at the army installation in Damaturu on Wednesday, the Acting Commander of the Task Force, Colonel Dahiru Bako, said the suspects were captured at diverse areas over the state.

The Acting Commander said a portion of the Boko Haram suspects were captured not long after completing an operation at the edge of Damaturu, executing two villagers while others that were seized are associated to be colleagues and sources with the agitators.

The suspected colleagues, as per him, were included in supply of logistics, for example, foodstuff, fuel and cigarettes among different intoxicants.
