The Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has said that he would show up before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Tuesday, September 22, 2015.This is as per an announcement on his online networking accounts.The proclamation posted on his Facebook record peruses, "While the Senate President Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, had expressed and kept up that he is prepared to submit himself to due procedure of the law on any issue concerning him, he likewise trusts that he has an unavoidable right to turn to the same legal for insurance when he feels his principal rights speak the truth to be encroached upon.
"The Senate President is a honest resident and his nonattendance from tribunal depended on legitimate guidance he got from his insight that it is a bit much for him to show up before the tribunal at this stage following the tribunal's ward and the procedure of starting the matter are being tested under the steady gaze of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
"Taking after the deferment for the movement's determination on notification and the substantive suit under the steady gaze of the Federal High Court to 30th of September and the offer pending in the witness of the Court of Appeal deferred to the 29th of September 2015, the Senate President has chosen, as a well behaved native, to show up before the Tribunal in the meantime.
"Dr. Saraki has taken the choice to go to the Tribunal sitting to exhibit his appreciation for the principle of law disregarding his own reservation on the procedure of his trial and the reason it might be expected to serve.
"Dr. Saraki wishes to guarantee Nigerians of his outright confidence in the legal process and is consequently sure that the course of equity would be served toward the end of this matter
