Jay Z assumed control daddy obligations on Friday as wife Beyonce commended her 34th birthday.

The rapper was spotted making a beeline for an eatery in Philadelphia with the couple's three-year-old little girl Blue Ivy, who had all the earmarks of being brimming with beans in front of the merriments.

Jay, 45, kept a nearby eye on his daughter wearing a disguise print shirt, pants and his trademark Timberland boots.
