Court Asks IGP To Monitor Haliru Bello At Abuja Clinics

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase, has been solicited to manage the stay from the previous National Chairman of the PDP, Haliru Bello, at the Abuja centers.

A Federal High Court gave the mandate on Tuesday, pending the determination of Mr Bello's safeguard application which has been altered for January 7, 2016.

The request took after the supplication by his advice and proof in court that the denounced individual originated from the Abuja facilities to take his request.

The trial judge requested that his co-charged and child, Bello Mohammed, be remanded in Kuje Prisons pending the determination of his safeguard application.

The previous Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his child and their organization, Bam Ventures, argued not blameworthy to a 4-number charge of IRS evasion brought against them by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mr Haliru Bello, who landed in an emergency vehicle and wheeled into the court close by his child were blamed for getting the whole of 300 million Naira from the prompt past National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, for political battles.

The previous Minister of Defense was selected as the Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in May 2015. His assignment was embraced by the PDP's BOT at a meeting of the BOT directed by ex-President Goodluck Jonathan.
