Cristiano Ronaldo leaves Real Madrid news meeting

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo left a news gathering on Tuesday in the wake of being addressed about his record in away matches this season.

Ronaldo, 31, has scored 32 objectives this season yet has not netted far from the Bernabeu since 29 November.

"Who else has scored a greater number of objectives far from home than me since I touched base in Spain?" said Ronaldo, the untouched top scorer in the Champions League.Name one player who has scored more than me. No answer? Alright. Much obliged to you."

Ronaldo was talking at a news gathering before the principal leg of Real's Champions League last-16 tie against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.

In December, the Portuguese turned into the primary player to score 10 objectives in the opposition's gathering stage.

Eleven of his objectives this season have left far from home, yet he has not scored in his previous four away diversions.

"It's reasonable that individuals have questions," said Ronaldo. "It's similar to with a child when you give him everything and after that when you take it away, he cries.

"I trust that I can keep this 'terrible structure' up until the season's end."
