Ex-cleric John Feit captured in Irene Garza murder case from 1960

John Feit, a previous Catholic cleric, has been captured in a 56-year-old homicide case.

Irene Garza was most recently seen alive the prior night Easter 1960 when Feit heard her admission at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen, Texas. After five days, searchers found the dormant body of the 25-year-old previous Miss South Texas face down in a channel.

Feit, 83, has for quite some time been the fundamental suspect for the situation, however he wasn't captured until Tuesday in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office captured him on a homicide allegation out of the condition of Texas, as indicated by the Hidalgo County, Texas, Prosecutor's Office and the Texas Rangers. Powers are attempting to remove him from Arizona.

In 2004, a fantastic jury chose not to prosecute Feit.
