On Tuesday morning, police in Fairfield, Connecticut, shot and killed a 51-year-old father of three who purportedly non-lethally cut and sliced his wife and three youngsters.
By State Police, a call came into Fairfield's dispatch focus from the home of Christopher Andrews, a lawyer who worked in New York City.
The female guest requested help, and officers were dispatched to Andrews' home. When they arrived, Andrews was remaining in his front yard with his child, who was wielding a slugging stick protectively.
A state police representative cases Andrews was conveying an unspecified weapon the reacting officers had requested him to drop. Rather, police assert Andrews "progressed" towards the officers, provoking one of them to start shooting.
Andrews was taken to an adjacent doctor's facility, where specialists professed him dead.
