The Group Executive Councils of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), had in a meeting on Tuesday guided its individuals to truncate NNPC operations across the country .
After "broadly talking about the profession", they "watched that the GMD/HMSP completely slighted due procedure and neglected to connect with partners.
"Consequently, from midnight today (Tuesday, March 8), all NNPC areas will be closed down totally until further notice. Further orders will be imparted as needs be", an announcement mutually marked by the Unions said.
