Wielding blood-soaked chains with well sharpened sharp blades joined, a gathering of hardline Muslims excoriate the skin from their backs as a baying swarm looks on, droning and beating their mid-sections.

With the power of each new sickening swing of the bladed instruments, more blood scatters through the air, arrival on a plastic canvas on the ground – and even on the characteristics of a percentage of the gathering of people.

This "primitive" practice has been banned even in ultra-religious Iran by the incomparable pioneer Ayatollah Khamenei. Be that as it may, these shocking scenes did not occur in Iran, Iraq or anyplace else in the Middle East – yet in rural Britain, and somewhat on nearby board land.
