The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) has captured two remote Cotonou water crafts conveying 22 travelers and 671 packs of rice brought into the nation from Cameroon.

Banner Officer Commanding ENC, Rear Admiral Atiku Abdulkadir, said that the water crafts were captured by men of the Navy on board Nigerian Navy Ship, Makurdi, while on ocean watch.

Tending to writers at the NNS Victory pier in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, Abdulkadir said that one of the water crafts conveyed 14 Nigerians with 550 packs of rice, while the other conveyed eight Cameroonians with 121 sacks of rice.

As per him, the travelers on board the watercraft had no substantial voyaging report, which prompted their capture and have been given over to the significant organizations for further activities.

He guaranteed that, the Navy stays submitted about security on the conduits, and will keep on maintaining their nearness adrift while likewise redesigning on their knowledge system.
