Nigerian Army: Troops Recaptures Gamboru Ngala From Terrorists


The Nigerian Army has retaken the financial and key town of Gamboru Ngala in Borno State, from the Boko Haram terrorists group.The triumphant troops took back the north-eastern region from the terrorists on Tuesday.

An announcement by the representative for the military, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said the troops had begun clearing and wiping up watches in the town.

Prior on Tuesday, the Chief of Defense Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, encouraged the Armed Forces to stay focused on their operational obligation and National Security while endeavoring endeavors to end revolt in the north-east.

General Olonisakin recognized the field authorities and the troops in the north-east for keeping up the energy in their endeavors to defeat out terrorists from the locale.

He gave the honor while holding a brief with the Principal Staff Officers and senior officers of the Defense Headquarters.

Counter-terrorism operations have been on in the north-east for over five years to defeat out the extremists that have done arrangement of assaults on groups, schools, spots of love and other open spots.

The terrorists are attempting to build up an Islamic State and end western training in the district.
