Tribunal Removes Ishaku, Declares Alhassan Taraba State Governor


The Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja has invalidated the race of Mr Darius Ishaku as legislative head of Taraba State. The Tribunal, in the wake of invalidating the race, proclaimed the governorship applicant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Aisha Alhassan, champ of the April 11 decision in Taraba State.

Mrs Alhassan had tested the triumph of Governor Ishaku in the Taraba State governorship decision.

The tribunal Chairman, Justice Musa Abubakar, had on October 7 held judgment inconclusively in the wake of listening to the last entries of the insight.

Equity Danladi decided that Governor Ishaku was not legitimately selected as the hopeful of the People's Democratic Party for the Governorship decision.

The Chairman of the Tribunal depended on the reports of the Independent National Electoral Commission, which said that the PDP didn't direct any essential race for the Taraba State Governorship Election.

Equity Danladi, in like manner returned Hajiya Aisha Alhassan of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the appropriately chose Governor of Taraba State, having secured the second most astounding votes amid the decision.

Mr Ishaku, then again, has a 21-day window to claim the judgment of the tribunal.
