The Governor of Taraba State, Mr Darius Ishaku has communicated dissatisfaction over the decision of the Election Petition Tribunal that expelled him from office. "I am exceptionally baffled that the judge left the primary issue and managed a matter that is totally past his issue; the issue of primaries as held by the gathering (PDP)", he said while responding to the judgment in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
The Governor further noticed that he will "request" as "a reputable resident", demanding that "the order you have given me unreservedly that I am executing and I will bid the Tribunal judgment on the grounds that I realize that this judgment will be turned around.
He likewise encouraged the general population of the state "to resist the urge to panic and sit tight for the reaction of the bid" including that the decision "is totally inadmissible".
The Governorship Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja had invalidated the decision of Mr Ishaku as legislative leader of Taraba State on Saturday, November 7.
The Tribunal Chairman, Justice Musa Danladi, had on October 7 held judgment inconclusively subsequent to listening to the last entries of the guidance.
Equity Danladi decided that Governor Ishaku was not legitimately designated as the competitor of the People's Democratic Party for the Governorship race.
The Chairman of the Tribunal depended on the reports of the Independent National Electoral Commission, which said that the PDP didn't direct any essential decision for the Taraba State Governorship Election.
Equity Danladi, in like manner returned Hajiya Aisha Alhassan of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the properly chose Governor of Taraba State, having secured the second most noteworthy votes amid the race.
