A suspected suicide assault at an administration office in north-west Pakistan has murdered no less than 22 individuals, police say.

The bomb went off outside the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) office in the town of Mardan.

A group of the Pakistani Taliban said it completed the assault, which left more than 30 others injured.

The assault is one of the deadliest since last December's slaughter of 150 understudies and instructors in Peshawar.

The plane in Mardan supposedly touched base on a motorbike and exploded himself when ceased by a security watch outside the Nadra building.

The workplace is generally swarmed with individuals lining up to get ID cards.
