Sandy Hook families to share $1.5M from domain of shooter's mom

Groups of those killed amid the 2012 slaughter at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut have concluded a $1.5 million settlement, a source with direct information of the understanding said Wednesday.

The settlement includes eight separate claims documented against the home of Nancy Lanza, who was executed by her child Adam before his December 14, 2012, frenzy at the Newtown school left 20 first-grade understudies and six grown-ups dead.

The 16 offended parties will share the $1.5 million, as per the source. Reports finishing the arrangement were recorded on December 17.

The claims were documented recently, charging that Nancy Lanza was indiscreet and careless in departing a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle unsecured in her home.
