The Supreme Court has maintained capital punishment passed on to the General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly in Lagos, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, otherwise called Reverend King.

The Apex Court likewise abandoned the correctional facility term passed on to him for endeavored homicide of five of his congregation individuals

In his lead judgment, Justice Sylvester Ngwuta who portrayed the certainties of the case "like what you find in a blood and guts film" said Reverend King's allure needs justify.

Reverend King was testing the judgment of a Lagos High Court hanging so as to sentence him to death.
