Ang Lee, Other Asian Oscar Winners Protest 'Supremacist Stereotypes' to Academy

Ang Lee marked letter looking for answers after "Oscars show was damaged by a tone-hard of hearing way to deal with its depiction of Asians"

Two dozen individuals from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including Ang Lee and a few other Oscar victors, have approached the AMPAS board for "solid strides" to guarantee that future Oscarcasts will maintain a strategic distance from the "tone-hard of hearing methodology" to Asians that was shown in the Feb. 28 service.

The challenge was conveyed ahead of time of Tuesday's load up meeting, where differing qualities guarantees to be a key thing on the plan. The message was sent to the board, AMPAS President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, CEO Dawn Hudson, and function makers Reginald Hudlin and David Hill.
