Indian high schooler assaulted, set ablaze by neighbor, police say

16-year-old young lady has been hospitalized with serious smolders after a neighbor professedly assaulted and set her ablaze close New Delhi, police said.

Police say the neighbor, around age 20, jumped into the young lady's room at 2:30 a.m. Monday.

Subsequent to assaulting her, the suspect set her ablaze, said Kiran Sivakumar, police director of Noida, a suburb of New Delhi.

The man has been captured and accused of assault, endeavored kill and trespassing. On the off chance that indicted, he could be imprisoned forever.

The young lady, who Sivakumar said endured a "ton of blazes," is in concentrated consideration at a New Delhi healing center.
