New Air Force F-35 Lightning II contender jet drop first bombs

Interestingly, Air Force F-35A Joint Strike Fighters have dropped bombs amid preparing, the Air Force reported, denoting a key development in the way toward battle preparation.

Aviators from the 388th and 419th warrior wings dropped the laser-guided bombs at Hill Air Force Base in Utah a week ago.

"This is critical on the grounds that we're building the certainty of our pilots by really dropping something off the plane as opposed to reproducing weapon vocation," Lt. Col. George Watkins said in an Air Force articulation.

It's the first run through such bombs had been dispatched with planes intended to send after alleged introductory operational limit. IOC is proclaimed when the planes are considered prepared for battle.

The main F-35s - a Marine squadron was announced prepared for battle last August.
