NASA space traveler Scott Kelly is back on Earth.
Kelly and Russian cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Sergey Volkov landed late Tuesday night in the Kazakhstan desert, NASA and Russian mission control said.
Kelly could be seen pumping his clench hand and offering a go-ahead in the wake of being raised from the Russian Soyuz shuttle that brought the trio back.
Each of the three experienced field tests quickly in the wake of leaving the rocket.
Kelly has finished an about yearlong mission on the International Space Station, the longest any U.S. space explorer has been in space.
