The Chairman Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Danladi Yakubu Umar, on Tuesday acquiesced to the solicitation of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, to reschedule the up to this point altered March 10 to March 11 for hearing.



This was contained in a letter marked by direction to Dr Saraki, Kanu G. Agabi (SAN), sent to the Tribunal, dated 26thFebruary, 2016, with the heading Re: charge No. CCT/ABJ/01/2015-FRN V Dr Olubukola Abubakar Saraki, tended to the Chief Registrar of the CCT.

The letter states ''I compose as lead Counsel to the above Defendant to apply that the matter which is presently planned to come up on the tenth day of March 2016, subject to the accommodation of the Honorable Tribunal and scholarly Counsel for the arraignment, be tackled the eleventh day of March, 2016, because of my prior and dire responsibilities in different courts on the tenth.

''I will truly welcome the liberality of the Tribunal to suit me along these lines, it included.

He finished by apologizing for the weakness brought about to the Honorable Tribunal and other scholarly Counsel.
