Celine Dion makes surprise appearance at Grammys 2024 as she battles stiff person syndrome

Celine Dion made a triumphant return to the Grammys Sunday amid her debilitating battle with stiff person syndrome.

The music legend, 55, received a standing ovation while her song “The Power of Love” played as she took the stage at Crypto Arena in Los Angeles to present the award for album of the year to Taylor Swift.

“When I say that I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart,” she said while dressed in a light-colored gown that was concealed with a large tan coat and accessorized with a sparkly necklace.

“Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world.”
