A Virginia cop was killed while reacting to a local related shooting a day after she was confirmed, authorites said.

Ruler William County cop Ashley Guindon was killed Saturday night in Lake Ridge. She was confirmed Friday.Two different officers were harmed in the shooting, powers said. One was in basic condition with various discharge wounds and another officer was steady, as per Corey Stewart, director of the leading body of province administrators.

A day prior to the shooting, the division tweeted a photograph of Guindon after her swearing in.

Guindon had been an officer before however took some time off, Stewart said.

Powers did not discharge extra subtle elements on the residential call. In any case, when police touched base at the scene, they found a non military personnel lady slaughtered in that occurrence, Stewart said.

Before Saturday, the division has had three officers killed in the line of obligation since 1970, it said on its site.

Sovereign William County is around 25 miles south of Washington, D.C.
